Spring in a Venetian Secret Garden

With the arrival of spring, we finally return outdoors, photographing our glass around the city. This time, we chose to bring our glasses into a Venetian garden. For once, we move away from the backdrop of the canals and their shimmering reflections, stepping instead into a greener, more springlike atmosphere, intimate and timeless, like that of a secret garden.

With this in mind, we naturally thought of the enchanting garden of Hotel Flora, an intimate and timeless space, a small treasure in the heart of the city and a perfect setting for our glassware. This choice also stems from an ongoing collaboration with the Romanelli family, owners of the hotel, whom we came to know through Casa Flora, their beautiful apartment where our vases are part of the interiors.

Just a few steps from Piazza San Marco, Hotel Flora is a true gem of Venetian hospitality, offering for generations an authentic experience of the city, expressed through a refined and elegant sensibility, nurtured for over sixty years by the Romanelli family.

Hidden within a private courtyard, the garden is a rare presence in Venice: a small, intimate and quiet oasis. Here, one can feel a pause in the rhythm of the city, where the sounds of Venice still gently resonate, the murmur of passersby in the surrounding calli, sheltered from the bustle of the busier streets.

In this intimate, flower-filled space, the organic forms and vibrant textures of our glasses naturally engage with their surroundings. Surrounded by greenery and touched by light filtering through the foliage, they create luminous and evocative compositions that invite you to play with colour. An atmosphere that begins here in Venice and, through our glasses, we hope can find its way into many beautiful gardens. A small touch of Venice to carry with you, perfect for setting spring tables and gently lighting up al fresco drinks.
