The Micheluzzi Glass website (https://www.micheluzziglass.com) is owned by Micheluzzi Glass S.n.c. di Massimo, Elena e Margherita Micheluzzi, with registered office at Dorsoduro 1071, 30123 Venice, Italy, VAT number 04894690272. You can contact us at info@micheluzziglass.com.

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Micheluzzi Glass, and "you" means the person who buys from our website.

Introduction

When you place an order, you enter into a distance contract with us for the purchase of the goods you have chosen. Please read these terms before you complete your purchase: by confirming your order, you accept them. We are not bound by different conditions unless we have agreed to them in writing.

We may update these terms at any time. Changes apply only to future orders and are published on this page.

If you notice an error in your order, write to us at info@micheluzziglass.com as soon as possible and before the order ships. We will do our best to correct it.

For consumers, sales are governed by the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005). The protection of your personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Reg. 679/2016). Our privacy policy explains how we use your data.

Your account

You can create an account to shop on our website, but you can also check out as a guest. To create an account you must be of legal age and accept these terms.

Please give us accurate personal data. Entering false data, creating several accounts for the same person, or using someone else's data is not allowed. If you do, we reserve the right to take legal action to protect ourselves and our other customers.

If you spot a mistake in your registration, you can correct it by logging into your profile.

Prices

The price of each product is the one shown on the website and in your shopping cart. Prices may change at any time without notice, but once you have placed an order its price does not change. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and shown in your cart. After you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email with the recipient's details, the delivery address, any notes, and the prices and costs of the purchase. Please check it and tell us immediately if anything needs changing.

Taxes

• For purchases within the European Union, prices include VAT.
• For purchases outside the European Union, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, prices are shown without VAT. Import VAT and duties are charged by the destination country on arrival, are paid by the recipient, and cannot be calculated at checkout.

For shipments outside the European Union, our shipping agent will contact you once the shipment is on its way and will handle the customs clearance process. Customs duties and import taxes applied by the destination country are not included in the price and are the responsibility of the recipient.

All our products come with a Fine Art Certification, which may reduce import taxes, depending on the destination country. Customs duties and import charges are explained in our Shipping Policy and are your responsibility. For an estimate before you buy, write to info@micheluzziglass.com.

Payment

We accept credit and debit cards and the other payment methods shown at checkout. With these methods you give your payment details directly to the bank or payment provider, not to our shop.

If you would like to pay another way, or you do not receive the confirmation email after placing your order, write to info@micheluzziglass.com. Payment methods other than those shown at checkout must be agreed with us in advance.

Your purchase is final only once the payment has gone through and been credited to our account.

Availability

You can buy the products shown in our online catalogue, in the quantities available in stock or from our suppliers. We cannot guarantee that a product will always remain available. If a product becomes unavailable after you have paid, we will tell you immediately and refund the price within 30 days, with no additional charge.

Handmade pieces and images

Every piece is unique. Slight differences in colour, size and finish from the photographs are normal, and the colour you see on your screen may vary from the real one. Small imperfections are part of the handmade process that makes each piece unique, and they are not a defect or an incorrect item.

Defective or incorrect items

If your order arrives defective or is not what you ordered, write to us at info@micheluzziglass.com with your order number and photos, as soon as possible. If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, you are protected by the legal guarantee of conformity: we are responsible for defects that exist at delivery and appear within 2 years of delivery. Please tell us promptly after you discover the defect. We will repair or replace the item or, where this is not possible, refund you. If a package arrives with visible damage, follow the steps in our Shipping Policy.

Right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods. The full conditions, including how to do it and how we refund you, are in our Refund Policy.

A consumer is a person who buys for purposes unrelated to their professional activity. Orders placed by companies or by holders of a business VAT number are treated as professional purchases, to which the right of withdrawal does not apply.

Other returns and exchanges

Outside the right of withdrawal and the legal warranty, we accept returns or exchanges only if we have agreed to them beforehand. Write to info@micheluzziglass.com with your order number. The goods must be unused and in their original packaging, and we need to authorize the return before you ship it. Return costs, including any customs charges, are yours. Returned items that are damaged or incomplete cannot be accepted and are sent back to you at your expense.

Language, governing law and disputes

These terms are written in English for commercial reasons; the Italian version is a translation. Italian law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules that apply where you live.

If you are a consumer, any dispute is handled by the court of the place where you live, in accordance with the applicable law. For all other customers, including those outside the EU and professional buyers, the exclusive jurisdiction is the Court of Venice, Italy.
