ABOUT THE TECHNIQUE

Cold Carving

The cold carving technique, known as Molatura, uses a grinding wheel called "Mola" to carve cold glass. Initially used to smooth cutting edges during finishing, it also serves as a decorative tool. The varied carvings enhance the tactile experience and allow light to play uniquely with the glass surfaces, reflecting colors beautifully.
