Oliva Oceano Coste
This vase owes its name to its gentle, elongated shape that recalls the form of an olive – Oliva in Italian. The cold engraving technique enhances the smooth surface of the glass, creating delicate lines that catch the light and softly shimmer. Its organic silhouette and tactile finish make it a quiet tribute to Mediterranean nature.
Goccia Oceano is handcrafted and signed.

ABOUT THE TECHNIQUE
Cold Carving
The cold carving technique, Molatura, takes its name from the grinding wheel used to carve the cold glass, which in Italian is called "Mola".
Usually cold carving is process used to get rid of the cutting edges of the glass during the finishing phase, but can also be used as decorative tool. The different carvings make the tactile experience one of a kind, also allowing the light to play with the glass surfaces, reflecting colours in a unique way.
